HOW TO USE QPATHE
QPathe Instructions
Every exam MUST have an operator, the operator can be a resident or attending - whomever acquired the images
Every patient care exam MUST have an attending who is privileged for that exam - the privileged attending can be listed as the operator OR the attending in QpathE
Do not perform studies for medical decision making (aka “clinically indicated”) if your attending does not have privileges.
Only mark an exam as clinically indicated if you are completely certain that it was for patient care
ALWAYS end the exam when you are done.
Always complete the worksheet.
You should complete the documentation for an exam on the SAME shift when you performed the exam
